Cyril groaned very softly and gripped a bit at the tree. "It would be better with it, yeah," he responded honestly. "But this isn't the first time I've done this without. Your spit will work too. Just... keep adding more if you think it feels too dry."
He really knew that wasn't too alluring a way to say that, but it seemed better than being too blunt. He reached behind himself and put a hand on Sam's body to comfort him and let him know that this was okay.
"Don't overthink it too much. I know what to expect. If I think you're going to hurt me, I'll let you know." After only a small pause he added, "Though I'm not one to shy away from a little bit of pain."
