If there's another close by, or someone else who can teach him how to gain a firmer grasp on his calm, that would be more ideal.
As for what you can do, just be a friendly face. He'll need those when we get back. It can't hurt to use his full name whenever he seems in most need of it, either. Taashath means calm, and sometimes he needs to be reminded of his goal.
