To The Leadership of the Inquisition:

As we are sure you are aware, an elven woman named Galadriel has been imprisoned within Skyhold's dungeon. While we understand this issue can be viewed as one between the Inquisition and Rifters, it is possible that a leadership made entirely of human men and women has not considered the implication of imprisoning an elven woman indefinitely.

We also must consider if this body is aware of the message it sends that an elven woman now calls the dungeons her home while human men who are openly hostile to others are allowed freedom. It is undeniable that instances have occurred recently, including a former templar attacking an elven woman, and those guilty have been allowed to walk free - and yet Galadriel, who has committed no crime that the public is aware of, has been forced into a cell.

If Galadriel has caused actual harm against this organization, that knowledge should be known publicly. At this time, no formal charges are known and any inquiry about the reasons of her imprisonment are met with suspicion.

Given how many elves have pledged themselves to this cause, we need to rest assured that we do not face the same harsh treatment for imagined slights. It is possible that our Rifter friends need similar reassurance.

We are requesting a statement of the crimes committed by Galadriel be posted or addressed to the public. If no formal charges can be offered, we request her immediate release.

We implore you to consider the historical weight of your actions today and the implications of keeping Galadriel in bondage. So many of our people realize the necessity of the Inquisition and the importance of the organization's stated purpose. However, this action has caused many of us to wonder how can we stand with you when there is doubt that you stand with us.

Your speedy response would be greatly appreciated.

Signed,
