[Cyril settles comfortably and leans back a bit, just enjoying everything about the view.]

Yes. Yes they are.

[Then he looks slyly over at her.] Have you seen the Qunari though? They're massive.

[serannas]

I have. But I can't imagine how that would even work. If they're that tall, then...

[ She giggles and holds her hands far apart. ]

Just think what they'd be like!

[samahl]

[Cyril's grin widened and it made it pretty obvious what he was going to say next.]

I don't have to imagine. [He sounds way too pleased with himself.]

And, as I said, they're massive.

Cyril!

[ She gasps, and it's clear the gears in her head are spinning trying to picture it, well, from a man's point of view. Maybe it's easier that way? But only if you're experienced, like Cyril is. ]

I don't think that would work for me.

[ And yes, that is a disappointed little frown. ]

It could, but it would take a long time with a lot of build up. [ Her eyes travel back to the humans practicing their swordplay. ] Not that I've been assuming I'll find that here, but if I did, I think I'd prefer something like, like them.

[ It could be that Ellana just wants something different, or maybe it's because her heart was broken by an elf and so she wants to move away from them. She can't say. All she knows is that she wants to run her hands across those broad shoulders and chests down there. ]

Foreplay is half of the fun, Ellana. [Cyril points out, amused by her reaction.] If a man seems to think otherwise he might not be worth your time.

In the meantime, though, there are oils to help. [He nudges her just lightly to show that while he's telling the truth he's also just trying to tease her.]

And, mmm, yes, I can't say that I disagree with your tastes. Do you have one in mind?

[serannas]

Well, I don't have much experience.

[ In a small clan with no chance of meeting outsiders, it's to be expected. She glances at him when he nudges her, smiling shyly. ]

No, not as such. I think many of them are handsome, but that wouldn't be enough for me. I'd have to know him too, and like his personality.

[samahl]

[He raises his brow a bit.]

I'm not talking about finding a lover, just a fun romp.

[serannas]

Oh, Cyril, I know.

[ She gives a soft laugh at his expression, knowing this is different for him. ]

But I don't think I could have a romp. Kissing is one thing, but the rest? If I'm going to be that close to someone, I want to know he cares about me, and I want to care about him too. I know it must seem silly and romantic, but it's not so bad a thing to want to be wanted for all of me, is it?

[samahl]

[He shrugs just a bit at that.] It doesn't make sense to me, if I'm honest, but this is your body we're talking about now. You make the rules for your body.

[serannas]

And you for yours.

[ She inclines her head towards him with a smile. ]

It's probably something I couldn't explain. You just know what feels right for you and what doesn't.

[ And she doesn't begrudge anyone their romps. What she does is when a certain bastard romps with someone else and tells both girls he loves them while truly loving neither. Maybe Atlan was the start of it all. Maybe it's because of him that she has to feel wanted for more than her body before she allows someone access to it. ]

In any case, if any of them down there would like to kiss me until my toes curl, I would be a very happy girl. And if any of them would like to get to know me and something wonderful comes from it, then I'd finally have a story to share with you.

[samahl]

Oh yes. And on that day, you have to share all of the juicy details. [He grins a bit at that idea.] As I'm sure he'll be worth the wait.

[serannas]

[ She laughs, her pale cheeks turning pink. ]

I'll be omitting some details, so you can just let your imagination run wild there.

[ Anything Cyril could come up with for Ellana's liaison would probably be more thrilling than the truth anyway. ]

[samahl]

You know me, I'll likely come up with something rather exciting. [He looks out to the sparring match.]

I could probably say a few things about that one, just make up what I'd think he'd be like sharing intimate moments....

[serannas]

That one? On the left?

[ Oh, he's rather nice. Ellana leans on the wall and smiles. ]

Would it be as good as a bad romance novel?

[samahl]

I'm certain I could be at least marginally better than a romance novel.

[A pause.] Though I shouldn't say that where Varric might overhear. I wouldn't want him to think I meant his books.

[serannas]

I have yet to meet Varric, but I haven't read his romance either. So I could assure him that I wasn't speaking of his book.

[ A pause. ]

Or books. How many romances has he done? Maybe I should start reading his.

[samahl]

Not as many, I don't think. He has the Hard in Hightown series instead? And of course, he wrote about Kirkwall.

[serannas]

Right. I know Hard in Hightown.

[ She glances around them and smirks. ]

But I don't see the dwarf I know from the back cover sneaking around here anywhere, so get to telling me what that man would be like in the bed roll.

[samahl]

[Cyril chuckles a bit and considers him for a moment.]

He'd be handsy. The type to want to grip onto you while he took his pleasure.

[serannas]

[ Even though her face is now flushed, she isn't shying away from staring at the handsome man. ]

Oh yes. And a hair puller, but a gentleman. He'd ask first, and then start in once you'd said yes.

[samahl]

That is the only way you should ever be with a man who does something that might harm you, yes.

His kisses are strong as well. They'll leave your lips a bit swollen.

[serannas]

[ She nods seriously. There's nothing thrilling to her about being worried what a lover might do next. Permission is vital. ]

Oo, would he nibble your lip too? Maybe bite down a little harder?

[samahl]

Mm. And you feel the stubble on his chin against your face as a lingering sensation after he pulls back...

[serannas]

[ She legitimately squeals here. And then presses a hand to her cheek in embarrassment. But she can't help it! Elves don't have stubble. ]

I mean, um... that would feel good.

[samahl]

[He chuckles a bit, pleased at that sound.]

Yes. I know. I think I need to drink some water and cool down now.
