[ Finding Dorian had made things easier, at least; it gave her a focus point, something to anchor herself to, and it made exploring easier. Having somewhere to go back to was good, and having people to be there when she wandered back in from the forests with new scrapes and bruises and stories to tell took some of the weight off her shoulders. It wasn't all Dorain, however, as she had quickly realised that the other Inquisitor was there too.
A part of her was at odds with him, even after their talks; he was so familiar and so different, like a reflection in a badly made mirror. Parts of her were concerned with how she presented herself, how she ought to act, what she ought to say nor not say, but the realisation that he knew her better than anyone by virtue of having lived the same life as her made those thoughts easier to manage. Anything she thought or said might be a reflection of the things he had witnessed, he had imagined, he had voiced. It made her uncertainty and some of her shame easier to bear.
It's later in the evening that she manages to take the time out to go and sit nearby him, breathing out and tilting her head up to look at the stars. Her hand is glowing and sparking, but quieter now thanks to Justice softening the pain for her. The ache is present, but it's not enough to have her out of commission. ]
[Cyril had actually been relieved when Dorian had brought Leilani
back to the ship with him. It was reassuring to know where she was because
despite his own complicated feelings over the idea that there were others
who had stumbled upon the ritual during the Conclave, he felt a connection
to her that no one else here had. It likely would have been there without
their lives being so similar just by virtue of them both being Dalish.
He had spent some time wandering the woods and setting traps around the
ship, but now he was resting and giving his arm some time away from the
wood limb he usually wore. Without the weight of it, he could give his
shoulder some time to recover from carrying it around. Spending time with
it off also prevented sores from forming around the scars. He still felt
odd about people seeing him without it, but the crew of this ship had made
him feel welcome enough he could tolerate it.]
As well as can be expected. How are you? [His eyes lowered a bit to
check out her anchor. While he had been happy to see her, a part of him was
still wary of a deteriorating anchor. He could remember the way that his
own version of their companions had cried out in pain when they were caught
up in it's energy.]
[ Each moment spent with him was twisting and damaging and she's aware of it; she knows that he has lived a life just like hers and she feels the burn of it prickle in her chest. It's uncomfortable, being so aware of someone else, knowing that they are you and not you at the same time, and she makes a mental note to consider the fact that she can speak to the Champions and the Heroes about it. Those names seem so grand in comparison to her own, and Leilani feels small and foolish in the midst of her own self-doubt and pain.
It's obvious where Cyril's attention goes and Leilani breathes out, staring at her hand. It aches and burns and sparks with the pulse of her power, and it's not right. She wishes Solas had taken it before she had woken up here, she wishes it had never come to her in the first place, that she was stronger or better or faster... So many things, but none of them can come true. This is her fate, now, her path, and she can do no more than accept it. ]
Much the same. [ She tucks her hand away, turning her focus back to the elf at her side. ] It is good to have something to focus on. It's almost like being home again with all the fighting for my life.
[He smiles a bit, in a way that shows that he can't help but agree.] Fighting for our lives and the lives of others while facing down mad people in a forest does feel a bit more like home.
And here I was hoping that we'd get a nice comfortable bed and a fireplace instead.
[This, at least, Lumière didn't mind. He was never especially fussy about his romantic entanglements. It made life considerably easier. Still, that's probably a lot sweeter than he'd normally start this sort of thing off with, but he's always been a touch...overzealous.
Still, he's MORE than happy to return that kiss, lips parting to allow Cyril to explore all he likes.]
[Cyril heats up the kiss gradually, letting himself enjoy the build up of passion. When he pulls away to breathe he moves to kissing Lumiere's jaw and neck.
At the same time his hands start to work to pull start unfastening some of Lumiere's clothes. He doesn't want them off completely, just open enough that he can move his mouth to teasing his chest and lower.]
[ Of course, Dorian arrives to the Wonderduck within the hour. If Cyril doesn't happen to be back just yet, he will make himself comfortable in his quarters, sitting on the bed with his legs crossed. Perhaps a bit of surveying the room. Typical of Dorian, not a hair is out of place, and he even took a bit of time to make sure the kohl around his eyes was perfectly smudged.
If he's managed to beat Dorian there, well, he will simply saunter into the room and proceed to make himself comfortable, anyway. ]
I realize I may have given you an impossible task, as the supply has dwindled. I believed that you'd be able to. [ So much faith in the Inquisitor he has. ]
[Cyril wasn't quite back yet, so when he appeared in his room he seems pleased to see Dorian there. His heart might feel like it's stuck in his throat, but typical of him he seems at ease - the picture of "pretty and put together."
He holds up a bottle in his hand and chuckles gently.]
Mm, quite. [ Cyril always appears put together, though Dorian believes much lurks underneath that- quite like himself. Of course, the Inquisitor knowing some of his more intimate details gives him a bit of a disadvantage, but Dorian isn't one to turn down the challenge. ]
[In truth, Kolivan actually just wishes to spend time with Cyril. But when you have spent this long not being charming you rather lack the skills for it. So he's defaulted to what he is used to.
Giving orders.
When he sees him arrive, he nods his approval.]
Walk with me.
[He turns to walk without waiting. No seriously. This is all he wanted.]

Action bow chica wow wow
[Lumière chuckles, sitting back on the bed. ]
Mon lutin, it has been literally ten years, I will take whatever you are willing to give, and very happily, at that.

If I do anything you don't like or if you need to stop just tell me.
[He felt that Lumiere wouldn't hesitate to share what he wanted, but considering it had been so long who knew how he would respond.
Cyril came closer to him then and put his hand on Lumiere's shoulder. He bent to kiss Lumiere, starting with something sweet and exploring.]

I'm afraid all I have are the standard cups for ships. Not nearly as nice as glass.

Cyril. You will report to the planet surface at [Insert the most exact coordinates ever.]
I will await your arrival.
> action?
[Because if Kolivan is calling then Cyril wants to be there, though he isn't entirely sure what is on the planet that he needs to see.
He is true to his word and shows up at those coordinates as soon as he can. He can't help but be curious about what Kolivan needs from him.]
